The Omega Balance Natural Meats Program is the result of almost 20 years of extensive research and real-world experience. When animals consume diets high in Omega-6 fatty acids, their meat reflects that same balance. As seen in the chart above, we have tested a large variety of meats that reflect a diet high in Omega-6s. The most common culprit is corn and soy, though many other byproducts can contribute to this imbalance as well.
In contrast, Omega Balance Natural Meats all have a balanced Omega 6:3 ratio of 1:1. The difference is what they eat!
Why is this important? Excess Omega 6s in an animal's metabolism lead to chronic inflammation and peroxidation of Omega-6 Linoleic acid, producing toxic cellular byproducts. As seen in the chart below, these toxic byproducts are not only detrimental to the animals, but to we humans who consume them. In addition, the excess Omega-6s contribute to an imbalance in our own diets, which leads to the same toxic peroxidation cascade within our own cells.

Our Omega Balance Natural Meats program teaches our members how to produce healthy meat, with an Omega 6:3 ratio of 1:1, and without the toxic byproducts of excess Omega-6s. This ratio is the hallmark of a healthy diet throughout the world. All our animals are raised on a diet of natural, fermented forage, including grasses, alfalfa, cover crops, and other forages. The fermentation increases the nutrient availability as well as the energy the animals receive from the forage, resulting in faster growth, increased marbling, and greater flavor and tenderness.
